The Executive Conversation has a multi-day course that teaches effective methods for selling to upper-level executives. The first few modules of the course covered a number of basics that didn't need to take up classroom time. The Executive Conversation needed a solution that would allow their customers to cover the basics before they reached the classroom. The courseware needed to be accessible anywhere, even if the client was sitting on a plane.
We created a versatile tool for The Executive Conversation that would walk the client through four modules that taught basic terminology and business ideas. Integrated quizzes tracked the clients' progress, and reported back to The Executive Conversation, allowing the course leader to easily check that all participants had completed the preparatory work.
The TecExecutive program was developed in the iShell multimedia authoring environment, and delivered over the web for Windows. Quiz data was saved to the hard drive, and uploaded to an Oracle database using Coldfusion when the user was next connected to the internet.
